Support
Tell us what the app was showing, and we can usually fix it.
Bridge for Ricoh GR is made by a small team in Zagreb. A person reads every message. There is no ticket portal, no account and no bot — write to us directly.

01 — Before you write
Four checks that resolve most reports.
The app depends on a physical connection it does not control, so nearly every problem is on the wire rather than in software.
- Is the cable a data cable? A charge-only USB-C cable powers the camera and nothing else. Compare the two.
- Was the order right? Camera on in playback → app open and waiting → cable → wait for the ready line → Lightroom. See the sequence.
- Was the camera in playback? On the shooting screen it may only charge.
- Was Lightroom opened too early? It has to wait for “Camera ready for Lightroom.”

03 — Writing a useful report
Include these six details.
With them we can usually reproduce the problem on the first try. Without them, we have to ask.
- Your device and system version — for example “iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.1”.
- The exact line the app was showing when it stopped, word for word.
- Which cable you used, and whether you have confirmed it carries data.
- Whether anything sits between camera and device, such as a hub or adapter.
- The order you did things in, including when Lightroom was opened.
- Whether the camera was on and in playback before you connected the cable.
Please do not send photographs
We never need your images to diagnose a connection problem, and we would rather not receive them. A screenshot of the app screen is enough.
04 — What support covers
Where we can help, and where we cannot.
- We can help
- Bridge for Ricoh GR behaviour, the connection sequence, cable and power questions, the ready state, and anything the app reports.
- We can advise
- Where Lightroom's connected-camera import lives, and what to expect once the camera has been released to it.
- Adobe's remit
- Lightroom accounts, subscriptions, catalogues, sync and editing. We are not affiliated with Adobe Inc. and cannot act on your account.
- Ricoh's remit
- Camera firmware, camera menus and camera repair. We are not affiliated with Ricoh Company, Ltd.
- Out of scope
- Recovering deleted photographs. Bridge for Ricoh GR never modifies camera storage, so it cannot have removed anything.
